Vietnam Airlines increases more flights during Tet holiday

From 19 Jan. to 16 Feb. 2014, Vietnam Airlines will add more flights to serve the increasing demand during Tet holiday.

Accordingly, from 2nd Oct., Vietnam Airlines will start to sell tickets for the Tet holiday with 835 flights on nine of the busiest routes that are most in demand during Tet including 385 flights for the route Ha Noi – HCMC– Ha Noi (up by 23% compared to the regular flight schedule), 218 flights for the route Da Nang - HCMC – Da Nang (up by 26%) and an increase of 8% for 7 other routes Ho Chi Minh - Thanh Hoa / Hai Phong / Vinh / Nha Trang / Phu Quoc / Quy Nhon / Buon Ma Thuot (focused mainly on the routes HCMC - Nha Trang / Vinh / Hai Phong / Thanh Hoa- HCMC).

In addition, the carrier will schedule for a number of night flights just before Tet (25-29 Jan.) and after Tet between (2-9 Feb.).

Vietnam Airlines also suggests customers to reserve and purchase tickets as soon as possible to limit the scarcity of tickets during Tet.
