All visitors entering Myanmar must have a valid passport with a Myanmar Entry Visa.
The entry visa can be obtained via 3 ways below:
- Applying by yourself at any Myanmar Embassy or Consulate offices.
- Applying for a visa approval letter to get the visa stamp at Myanmar International Airports (also known as visa on arrival) through tour operators or travel agency service.
- Applying E-visa by yourself, please go to http://evisa.moip.gov.mm/

Yes, you can get E-Visa in 4 easy steps
Step 1: Go to http://evisa.moip.gov.mm/ and fill out the secure online application form.
Step 2: Confirm and pay with your credit/debit card.
Step 3: Receive your approval letter (within 5 working days).
Step 4: Receive your visa upon arrival in Myanmar.
- Tourist visa allows 28 days stay in Myanmar and extendible for an additional 14 days.
- Business visa allows 70 days stay in Myanmar and this visa is extendible up to 12 months.
- Transit visa allows 24 hours stay in Myanmar.
Pre-arranged visa on arrival was practiced in Myanmar a few years ago. Starting from 1st May 2010, real visa on arrival is issued upon arrival at Yangon and Mandalay International airport.
To get Myanmar visa on arrival, you need to pay two kinds of fee:
- Service fee: You pay to us US$ 30 per person for normal case to do all procedures to get your visa approval letter.
- Myanmar Entry Fees: you have to pay US$ 20 in cash to the Immigration Department at the airport.
For service fee, you pay to us by following options:
- Using Credit/Debit card by Onepay/Paypal
- Sending money via Western Union
- Sending money via Bank Transfer (recommended for those are in Vietnam)
For Myanmar entry fee, you need to pay in cash (USD) to Immigration officer at Immigration Control Desk.
We can arrange Myanmar pre-approved (applied in advance in Myanmar & issue visa only on arrival at the airport) visa on arrival for clients of all nationalities travelling with us or for those travelers who live in the countries where Myanmar Embassies or Consulates do not exist or who do not have time to apply visa at the Myanmar Embassies. The information we need from you are:
- Full Name as in passport
- Name of father
- Passport Number
- Date of Birth
- Place of birth
- Passport Issuance & Expiration date (passport must be valid 6 months after arrival)
- Nationality
- Race

- Sex

- Reason for visiting Myanmar

- Scanned passport photo or copy of passport page with photo
Duration: With these information we will apply for a visa on arrival. In order to be able to process the visa in time we need at least 3 weeks in advance
After getting the approval letter from the authorities, we will send you a copy of this authorization letter to be presented at the check-in counter of the airline and also upon arrival at International Airport of Myanmar.
Visa on Arrival will be suspended at the Yangon and Mandalay International Airports only

(4) Your Approval Letter with stamped from Myanmar Ministry of Hotel & Tourism
(5) US$ 20 new note for each one of you as "visa entry fees".
Visa on arrival is for only single entry visa. For multiple entry visas, you have to go to Myanmar Embassy in your country.
Yes. You can get it at international airports. If you are Burma born, you will be checked for black list prior to your visa approval at the airport.
- Fill in the Extension form
- If you are sure you need a Visa Extension before you arrive, you can give us the form, your original passport and 2 photos and USD 50 for 2 weeks extension.
- If you are not sure, print out this form and contact us when you are in Myanmar. We will collect Recommendation for your hotel the form, passport, 2 photos and 50 USD for 2 weeks extension.
- For Visa 1st one must obtain a letter of endorsement from Ministry of Hotel & Tourism and then submit to Ministry of Immigration. It will take at least 2 days and max 5 days to get Tourist Visa extended.
