The road conditions in Myanmar are still quite poor and travelling by car or coach is not very comfortable, roads are mostly bumpy. But in the last few years a lot of streets got repaired, paved and enlarged or even new streets were built. Most available cars and coaches are quite old, please do not expect the newest vehicles and the best conditions.

Taxis are available everywhere. There are over 250 Buses lines running through Yangon every day. For exclusive transport, there are car rental services.
