PROGRAM DETAILS SHARED TOUR (NON PRIVATE)

Depart from your hotel at 07:00 in the morning or 12:30 in the afternoon then transfer to the pier in the heart of the city. Embark the speedboat and cruise along the Saigon River to Cuchi Tunnels, You’ll pass the cityscape and head through more rural sceneries as you travel northwest to Cu Chi. Upon arrival commence a historical tour with a visit to Cuchi Tunnels, located 70km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, built and used by the Viet Cong during both the French and American wars. It took 25 years to construct this tunnel and it stands today as a symbol of struggle of the Vietnamese people. This Tunnel consists of more than 200km of underground tunnels, many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels and home to more than 16,000 communist guerillas and sympathizers during the war. The underground network provided sleeping quarters, meeting rooms, hospitals, and other social rooms. Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels provides a better understanding of the prolonged resistance war and also of the persistent and clever character of the Vietnamese. In the late morning head back to Ho Chi Minh City by speedboat, the journey will take 90-minutes and a traditional Vietnamese lunch will be served en-route. Your vehicle will be waiting upon disembarkation and take you back to your hotel.

Note:
- This tour is non private and you will join fellow travelers on this trip. Group sizes are small with up to 13 people maximum per tour.
- This tour operates in the morning departing at 07:00 and returning at 13:00 and also operates in the afternoon departing at 1315 and returning at 1830 with lunch included.
