Ho Chi Minh City launches a new rowboat tour to downtown canal
Ho Chi Minh City plans to introduce rowboats to allow tourists to travel an attractive downtown portion of the Nhieu Loc-Thi Nghe canal starting this December. The itinerary will be rowed along the canal between the Saigon Zoo and Vinh Nghiem, one of the biggest pagodas in the city, which usually hosts religious exhibitions and festivals.
Mui Ne among top beaches in Asia
Mui Ne beach in the central province of Binh Thuan has been chosen by Canadian Travellers, a travel guide magazine of Canada, as one of the 11 most beautiful beaches in Asia. Mui Ne ranks second in the list, just after pristine Ko Lipe beach of Thailand.

Vietnam proposes visa exemption for visitors from five nations
The move aims to offset the decline in the number of Chinese tourists to Vietnam in recent times due to the recent territorial dispute in the East Sea. The Ministry of Transport plans to strengthen the transportation of travelers from countries like France, Germany and the UK which have not been affected by the East Sea situation.
