Starting from center of Hoi An, visit Tra Que Organic Village, and walk through the market gardens where local farmers work their fields using the traditional methods of hundreds of years ago, shop at a local markets, learn about local produce, how to cook Vietnamese dishes and best of all how to taste it. This tour includes cooking demonstrations, cooking lessons with local families giving an unparalleled insight into this beguiling country’s delicious cuisine.

We start the day at 08:00 am with a welcome drink at the meeting point. Travel to Tra Que Organic Village by minivan. Upon arrival we walk through the market gardens where local farmers work their fields using the traditional methods of hundreds of years ago - no electrical machinery here. We pick fresh saw-tooth coriander and Vietnamese mint for our cooking lesson later before trying a special herbal drink at a local home. The next stop, we explore, and shop at a local village market with a range of local ingredients including star anise, cardamom, sesame rice paper, water spinach and banana flower etc, experience the amazing sights, sounds, aromas of this busy market and we also have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers. Leaving the local market for the Cooking Class we have a chance to freshen up before beginning our cooking class. Work together with the Chef and learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food from scratch. Using the freshest ingredients and traditional Vietnamese utensils (still in use today) we cook 4 famous dishes, including the national dish ‘Pho’. After the class, sit down and enjoy the delicious meal that you have made before taking a leisurely 25 minutes cruise along the Hoi An River back to central Hoi An, end of your culinary tour

 Deluxe Cooking Tour requires a minimum of 2 paying passengers and operate in the morning only
 Maximum group size for both Seat-on-Coach and Private Deluxe Day Cooking Tour is 8 passengers
 Both tours operate everyday of the year except for the first 2 days of Tet New Year and The program may change depending on weather conditions
